Our Mission

Wind Ministries equips people to experience God by introducing them to the heart of Jesus, encouraging them to learn and grow in the prophetic, and guiding them in the pursuit of spiritual formation so that they can understand their personal experiences are part of a much larger story.

The path to intimate union with God is a long and arduous journey. It never ends. The smallest sliver of daylight can provide light to a completely dark room. We see that sliver and are convinced we have experienced the depths of the heart of Jesus, but if He were to peel back the curtain we would see just how much we have missed. Just one sliver of God’s light gives us a glimpse into the infinite panorama of His love.

We must be quick to acknowledge how little we know. This is evidenced by our own hearts. If we knew the heart of God to the extent we thought we knew the heart of God, we would be very different people. My desire is to equip people to experience God. We are designed for Him, and all of Creation groans, including us.

Scripture says that we are one spirit with Him. The question that resonates deeply within my heart is, “What does it take to become a ‘partaker of the divine nature’?” Our mission is not so much to answer that question as to experience it, and lead others into the depths of the Divine Nature of Christ.

Our Team

Joshua & Erin Hoffert

Joshua and Erin Hoffert are a husband/wife team who founded Wind Ministries in 2018. Seeking to help re-connect people with the heart of Christ in personal and dynamic ways, Joshua and Erin teach, train, mentor, and equip people to experience the loving heart of God. Many are stuck in their walk with the Lord, or just need help progressing, Joshua and Erin teach courses on inner healing, hearing the voice of God, understanding dreams, spiritual formation, and living a connected life all with the goal of helping others on the journey. They are passionate about journeying with people to wholeness. 

Joshua and Erin both completed four years of study with Streams Ministries School of Ministry. Erin Hoffert holds a BA in Psychology from Trinity Western University and is a Qualified HeartSync Facilitator. Joshua Hoffert is a member of CMA, author of Transformation: Catching a Glimpse of the Beauty of God, as well as the 52 articles on the lives of the Desert Fathers and Mothers. Together, they help people from all walks of life embrace whole-hearted living in the kingdom of God.

Joshua and Erin reside in Chilliwack, BC, Canada with their three kids. They enjoy fostering the dream life of the children as well as their prophetic destinies. During the summer, you can often find them camping.
